Register TODAY for the "Find Riley 5k!" This fun run/walk is to bring awareness to the public about lost pets and what to do if you find a dog or cat. "Find Riley" comes from our good friend and volunteer, James Cloud.
He lost "Riley" , a one and a half year old Black Lab mix in Macoupin County on November 1st. He is still looking for her. In his travels to find her, he's realized a lot of the public doesn't know what to do when an animal is found and that many dogs can travel thousands of miles within a short time frame. James has a facebook fan page at: https://www.facebook.com/OperationFindRiley.
Please join us for this great event in support of James and finding his dog and all of those others who have lost loved ones and are still searching for them. All proceeds will benefit our non-profit animal welfare group, Paws Care. Register now by clicking here.
PAWS CARE is a volunteer group established in 2008 by individuals dedicated to being the voice for those who have none, to provide sanctuary for animals who have been abused, abandoned, or at lost and in need of shelter. It is our mission to try to find responsible, loving homes for all who come our way, to reunite the "lost" with their family and encourage residents of Montgomery County to embrace the humane treatment of homeless domesticated animals.
